Since people sometimes do not leave different opinions and ideas of the disappearance of humanity through various diseases, weapons, natural disasters, etc., this song presents a kind of allusion to the fact that nature, as a single living organism, reacts to harm caused by man.
So, human existence is a kind of balance on the edge of a knife, between the protection of nature and its exploitation.
lyrics
We thought we were safe
And could live our lives.
We're only guests.
We're only guests.
She will erase
Every moment
Of your existence.
She will erase
Every moment
Of your existence.
Maybe we are
Too sad to cry.
All we have left
To bleed and to die.
The world is balanced on a knife
Edge of destruction
Depressing life.
She will bathe her feet
in the blood of the wicked.

The world is a better place for having this album in it. Great guitar and fantastic drums. Fits nicely along side Deafheaven in my collection. Recolour
